I'm not one for repainting let alone corrupting this 93 Cannondale Tarck's original paint job (the original paint job was pretty much all coming apart) but I'm pleased as to how this came out! I'm having all the decals redone and I'm pretty excited to ride this bad boy when it's all finished. I am changing one major detail to it tho..but you'll just have to wait and see! I'll be seeing you guy's out and about in the spring!
Are you getting the exact cannondale track decals replicated? I'm going through the same restoring process of mine also (was originally the arctic blue, but the person I bought it from painted it black :/). If you are can you post where your getting them done? Would be a huge help. Thanks-Alex

ReplyDeleteI'm actually getting them custom done at the moment. I have two friends working on them. Unfortunately with all the research I've done, there is no exact font since all the cannondale fonts are hand drawn. I had a buddy trace out the decals before I had it repainted. I was fortunate to get my hands on another 93 Track so I'll be using that as a reference for decal placement. Once I have the Tif files. I'll be sending them over to another buddy that will be able to cut the decals to the exact measurement. The "HAND MADE IN USA" decal I'll have to get done from another source that would be able to produce a water based decal so that it would look pretty close to factory. Once I have the decals made, I'll be posting up new pictures. Good luck with your search!
